This page explains what personal data Food Grain Studio collects through this website, why, and what your rights are, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

Data collected

• Contact form: name, email, phone, type of service, location (town or area), number of guests and your message.
• Food Profile (link sent personally): contact details, information about the service, food preferences, allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements, whether children will attend and their ages, kitchen equipment and, if you wish, photos of your kitchen.
• Direct messages: anything you send me by email, WhatsApp or Instagram.

Information about allergies, intolerances and diets may be health data, which the FADP treats as sensitive. It is processed only with your explicit consent, given by ticking the box before sending the Food Profile. You may withdraw this consent at any time.

Purposes

This data is used only to reply to your request, prepare a menu proposal and the service, take your guests’ allergies and dietary requirements into account, and, for regular clients, let menus evolve over time. It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not passed on to third parties for their own purposes.

Hosting and service providers

• The website and form submissions (including photos) are hosted by Hostinger.
• Each Food Profile and contact request is also sent to me by email on a Gmail account (Google LLC), with photos attached where relevant.
• The website’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (Google LLC); your IP address is therefore transmitted to Google.
• If you choose to contact me on WhatsApp or Instagram, those conversations are subject to Meta Platforms’ terms.

Retention

Contact requests that do not lead to a booking are deleted after 12 months. Food Profiles and client information are kept for the duration of our collaboration and deleted no later than 24 months after the last service, unless the law requires otherwise. Kitchen photos are deleted once they are no longer needed.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Submitted answers and photos are stored in an area that is not publicly accessible and can only be viewed through password-protected access.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to contact@foodgrainstudio.ch. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Cookies and local storage

This site uses no advertising cookies and no analytics. The Food Profile temporarily saves your answers and photos in your browser (local storage) so you can come back later; they are cleared once sent.
